The Fund for RE & the School's Greatest Needs

Support of the school’s greatest needs allows us to provide opportunities that help our students and faculty make the most of their Ransom Everglades experiences.

We have made significant investments in people and programs on both campuses, enhancing security, transforming our college counseling office, increasing sustainability efforts, and recruiting a diverse and talented group of new students, just to name a few. Our students continue to pursue their passions in academics, arts and athletics, and explore their interests through a wide range of extracurricular activities.
“Both athletics and performing arts have molded me as a person and offered me meaningful experiences across a variety of disciplines, whether it’s soccer, football and track and field or drums, bass, piano and guitar. My teachers inspire me to try new things, and my peers and I push each other to the next level. The supportive environment at RE makes learning engaging and dynamic. I have had the opportunity to try many different things, and some memorable moments include kicking a PAT (point after touchdown) during a football game, maneuvering through a variety of musical instruments, founding the Caribbean Student Association this year and earning 3rd place in the national history bowl.” – Izzy Chong ’24

“We were happy to welcome Jose Beiro as Assistant Director of Security at the middle school this year. We have implemented projects designed to enhance the safety and security of our students, faculty and staff on both campuses, including a new visitor management policy, video and medical equipment and additional security personnel. Over the summer, we will be replacing and reinforcing the fencing and gating structure at the middle school to strengthen campus security.”
– Robert DePriest ’86, Director of Security
