Raiders win in walk off fashion

Senior Collin Goff '24 led the Raiders on the mound with another strong pitching performance over seven innings of work that included seven strikeouts, and three hits in a 4-3 victory over Marathon High School. With the game tied at 1-1 in a pitchers duel, Marathon put two runs on the board in the final inning to take a 3-1 lead. The Raiders didn't flinch and hit back with a pair of runs to tie the game in the bottom half of the inning on a two run single by eighth grader Teddy Wagner '28. Both teams would have chances in extra innings but neither could convert until the bottom of the 13th inning when sophomore Jacob Rubenstein '26 came up clutch with a two out single to score junior Mason Lastra '25 for the walk off win.
