Twelve nominated for Silver Knight Awards

Ransom Everglades nominated 12 students who excel in service and various scholastic realms to compete for prestigious Silver Knight Awards in May. The students will be seeking award recognition at the 66th Annual Silver Knight Awards Ceremony at the James L. Knight Center on May 22, 2024. The event, sponsored by the Miami Herald/el Nuevo Herald, will recognize 30 winners whose projects demonstrate academic excellence and community service in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties. Ninety students will earn honorable mention recognition.

Last year, Ian Barnett '24 won the Silver Knight Award for Music and Dance for his work teaching musical composition to underserved youth.

Founded in 1903, Ransom Everglades School is a coeducational, college preparatory day school for grades 6 - 12 located on two campuses in Coconut Grove, Florida.
