List Detail

Leaders In Training (LIT)

The LIT program is for students entering 9th and 10th grades, as they transition from day campers into future counselors. LITs receive training and instruction as well as hands-on shadowing and engagement opportunities with campers and staff. The goal for LITs is to develop independence, leadership, and a sense of responsibility, while still enjoying the social aspect and activities of camp. Applications are now open.
An application, reference, and registration fee (upon approval of application) are required. This is a minimum 5-week commitment, which includes participation in Camp by the Bay with kindergarten - 5th-grade campers. All LITs must be available for all of the LIT and Leaders Training Week from June 10-14, and at least two full sessions of Camp by the Bay.

Spaces are limited, and candidates must submit an online application for review and approval before registering. Registration for approved candidates will open in the spring.

Application deadline: March 1, 2024
