Raiders earn palm league playoff victory

Senior Leah Maduro '23 continued her stellar senior season with another complete game performance on the mound in a 4-2 victory over Gulliver Prep to clinch third place in the Palm League. Maduro allowed four hits and struck out 13 in the win. If that wasn't enough, Maduro went 3-3 from the plate with two RBI's, a triple and a run scored. The Raiders also received an RBI from junior Tea Vallone '24 and a homerun from junior Trinity Haisch '24 to round out the scoring. Defensively, the Raiders continued to make plays in the field limiting Gulliver to two runs on the night. The team will take a few days off as they prepare for a difficult stretch of road games beginning with Mater Lakes Academy on Monday, April 11th. First pitch is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
