Ten RE student-athletes named first-team all-county

Ten Ransom Everglades spring sport athletes – Eleonora Cavallini ’23, Leah Croom ’24, Dani Darcangelo ’24, Madison DePriest ’24, Joaquin Merlo-Garzon ’24, Paolo Rebessi ’23, David Serra ’24, Carson Stanton-Sharpless ’23, Alejandro Urdaneta ’24 and Sarah Velazco ’23 – received first-team all-county honors from the Miami Herald as more than 30 student-athletes received some level of recognition from the newspaper in its annual spring awards.
Serra, who won state titles in the 1,600 and 3,200 meters, was named Miami-Dade Boys’ Track and Field Athlete of the Year.

Founded in 1903, Ransom Everglades School is a coeducational, college preparatory day school for grades 6 - 12 located on two campuses in Coconut Grove, Florida.
