Teams from RE excel in quiz bowl event

Ransom Everglades academic teams earned first and third place in the South Florida Fall Invitational Quiz Bowl Tournament Nov. 4 at RE. Jacob Aronow '26, Lucas Blanco '24, Daniel Figueroa '24 and Liam Forand '24 finished first in the quiz-based competition on various academic subjects, and Zachary Corbin-Cheah '27, Lucas Gonzalez '27, Nicholas Motoki '27, Jaz Puri '28 and Noah Veras '29 came in third under coaches Branly Fontaine and Abby Berler.
Nine teams participated in the tournament at Ransom Everglades' upper school. With the victory, the first-place RE team qualified for the 2024 High School National Championship Tournament in Atlanta May 24–26, 2024.
