Raiders roll in 42-28 road victory over Westminster Christian

Freshman quarterback Neimann Lawrence '28 led the way with 305 passing yards and five total touchdowns as the Raiders earned a 42-28 road victory over Westminster Christian to open the 2024 season in strong fashion. Fellow freshman Colton Smith '28 had a big day catching six passes for 80 yards and a touchdown in the win. Senior Reid Rosenberg '25, and junior Juan Velazco '26 both scored on deep balls from Lawrence to round out the scoring for the Raider offense. Defensively, the Raiders were led up front by junior Edwin Carr '26, senior Rudy Pages '25, and senior RJ Donaldson '25 who made things difficult for the Westminster offense all day long. Late in the third quarter with the ball at the one yard line, junior Charlie Hollerman '26 would get in the backfield and cause a fumble which freshman Hunter White '28 would recover for his first varsity touchdown. Congratulations to all players and coaches on a great opening night.
