Raiders earn runner up finish in Maverick Invitational

The Raider golf team kept its fantastic season going with a runner up team finish in the highly competitive Archbishop McCarthy Maverick Invitational in Coral Springs. The 13 team event matched the top of the class in 1A, 2A and 3A teams from Dade and Broward counties. The Raiders battled warm, windy and wet course conditions to equal there best result in this event since 2022.  Seventh grader Axel Monssoh '30 led the way for the Raiders with a +1 73, good enough for 2nd place in the individual portion of the event. Junior Navraj Suri '26 continued his strong play with a fifth place finish and eighth grader Cole Durham earned a top 15 finish.  Senior Matteo Bloom '25 rounded out the scoring for the Raiders with a solid round that earned him a top 25 finish. The team will now begin preparations for the post season as they look to make a run to states over the next few weeks.
