RE's academic team wins championship in NAQT South Florida Fall Invitational
The Ransom Everglades team of Jacob Aronow '26, Adi Arul '26, Zach Corbin-Cheah '27, Parker Jelke '27 and Alex Tevelow '28 won the championship at the National Academic Quiz Tournaments South Florida Fall Invitational at Ransom Everglades. RE's "B" team of Jack Gonzalez '28, Jaz Puri '28, Noah Veras '29, Ethan Moskovitz, '27, Gabrielle Tchira, '27 and Harlan Hoenig '28 finished in third place in the tournament that attracted 12 teams from as far as Naples.
Two RE academic team alumni, Leo Fein '23 and Daniel Figueroa '24, helped run the event, a buzzer-based competition that covers all academic subjects and current events.
RE's teams are coached by RE professional community members Branly Fontaine and Abby Berler.
Founded in 1903, Ransom Everglades School is a coeducational, college preparatory day school for grades 6 - 12 located on two campuses in Coconut Grove, Florida.
