Raiders cruise to victory in home opener
Junior Stella Colombo '26 made her presence felt on opening night with a five goal performance to lead the Raiders to an 8-0 victory over Divine Savior. Freshman Charlie Jaffe '28, and juniors Oivia Geller '26 and Joanna James '26 added a goal of their own to round out the scoring for the Raiders. From the opening whistle the Raiders dominated control of possession and put pressure on the Shark defense leading to multiple successful scoring opportunities. Defensively the Raiders were steady, never allowing the Shark offense to move the ball. The victory moves the Raiders to 1-0 on the season as they turn their attention to a road contest against True North on Wednesay, November 6th. Kick off is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. on the Miami Dade College Campus.
