Students honored for writing, debate achievements

Kayva Chaturvedi '17 finished in the top 10 percent of the John F. Kennedy Profile in Courage Essay Contest, advancing to the second round of the competition that included 2070 submissions. The John F. Kennedy Library Foundation invites U.S. high school students to write an essay on an act of political courage by a U.S. elected official who served during or after 1956.

Chaturvedi and fellow policy debater Iker Belausteguigoitia '16 were invited to participate in the prestigious Tournament of Champions in Lexington, Ky., April 29-May 1. Unfortunately, due to conflicts, they were unable to attend.
