RE Middle School Baseball Defeats Doctors Charter

Ransom Everglades Middle School Raiders jumped out to an early lead over Doctors Charter and took home a 12-3 victory on Monday. Ransom Everglades Middle School Raiders scored on a stolen base by Thomas Heisel, a single by Emmet Gershman, and a groundout in the first inning.  Ransom Everglades Middle School Raiders took an early lead in the first inning. Ransom Everglades Middle School Raiders scored on a stolen base during Thomas Heisel's at bat. Then Heisel doubled.  Jake Martin earned the win for Ransom Everglades Middle School Raiders. He threw three innings, surrendering zero runs, one hit, and striking out four. Two relievers helped Ransom Everglades Middle School Raiders close out the victory. James Srebnick threw one inning.  Gallo took the loss for Doctors Charter. He pitched two and two-thirds innings, giving up ten runs, ten hits, and striking out one.  Ransom Everglades Middle School Raiders had 13 hits in the game. Chris Basile, Tommy Fisher, Srebnick, Heisel, and Nick Rubino each collected multiple hits for Ransom Everglades Middle School Raiders. Heisel and Basile each drove in three runs to lead Ransom Everglades Middle School Raiders. Ransom Everglades Middle School Raiders tore up the base paths, as three players stole at least two bases. Basile led the way with four.
