Five Raiders win all-county recognition, more than 30 honored
Five Ransom Everglades fall sports athletes – Jesse Hellring '25 (golf), Julia Lewkowitz '25 (volleyball), Sophia Linfield '26 (cross country), Kiera Rampersad '25 (swimming) and David Serra '24 (cross country) – earned first-team all-county honors from the Miami Herald as more than 30 RE student-athletes received recognition in the fall sports rankings released in December and January by the newspaper.
Hellring followed an individual district championship with an eighth-place finish in the Class 1A championship. Lewkowitz scored 396 kills, 235 digs and 46 aces; Linfield finished fifth at the district meet and 17th at the Class 2A state championship; and Rampersad won the district title in the 100 fly and scored sixth place in the event at the Class 2A state meet. Serra, the district and Class 2A state champion, was named co-Runner of the Year for Miami-Dade County by the Herald. He has committed to continue his running career at Wake Forest.

Founded in 1903, Ransom Everglades School is a coeducational, college preparatory day school for grades 6 - 12 located on two campuses in Coconut Grove, Florida.
