Students provide Art OutREach at St Alban's Enrichment Center

Ransom Everglades students shared their passion for art with children at St. Alban's Child Enrichment Center several afternoons this spring. Under the leadership of Art OutREach officers Valentina Capote '26, Sophia Martin '25 and Nina Galinsky '26, the RE students took projects and materials to the students at St. Alban's for after-school art enrichment and plenty of fun. Club leaders emphasized to their RE peers that no experience was necessary to join in the classes.
Audrey Caplow '25, Jordan James '25, Blake Langer '26, Riley Kaye '27, Olivia Gomez '27, Noa Garcia '27, Bridget Metespey '26 and Luisa Duarte '27 participated on a Wednesday in May. Capote was inspired to get the classes off the ground after watching her older sister participate in tutoring there.

"I knew that even if I inspired one child, it could potentially make a difference in the world, the way I was inspired at a very young age," Capote said. " I've loved every moment of planning, teaching, and laughing with the kids at St. Alban's and I can't wait to pass the torch next year and the years to come for this beautiful club."
