RE honors senior inductees to the Cum Laude Society, the top 10 percent of the class
Ransom Everglades announced the Class of 2025 Cum Laude Society inductees, students in the top 10 percent of the senior class: Mia Bouyoucef '25, Mia Campbell '25, Jonah Fishman '25, Andrew Gedde '25, Jack He '25, Carlos Horcasitas '25, Sirja Joeveer '25, Hudson Kaplan '25, Paloma Lopes '25, David Martinez '25, Michael Mederos '25, Daniel Mendelson '25, Max Salomon '25, Ethan Sullivan '25, Solon Sun '25 and Ethan Thomas '25.
The inductees were recognized during a mid-day assembly and at a special dinner with Head of School Rachel Rodriguez and other school leaders and faculty at the Pagoda on September 10. All of the students have displayed academic excellence, honor and integrity throughout their years at RE,
In the spring, an additional 10 percent of seniors will be inducted into the society, and all members will be recognized at commencement. The Cum Laude Society, which was founded in 1906, is dedicated to recognizing academic achievement in secondary schools.
Founded in 1903, Ransom Everglades School is a coeducational, college preparatory day school for grades 6 - 12 located on two campuses in Coconut Grove, Florida. Ransom Everglades School produces graduates who "believe that they are in the world not so much for what they can get out of it as for what they can put into it."
