Fourteen students nominated for Silver Knight Awards

Fourteen RE students who have demonstrated excellence in service and scholarship will compete for Silver Knight Awards at the 67th Annual Silver Knight Awards Ceremony in May. Ransom Everglades nominated Anya Bhandari '25 (Vocational Technical); Mia Bouyoucef '25 (Science); Marley Carrillo '25 (Speech); Maya Fern '25 (Social Science); Andrew Gedde '25 (Math); Sirja Jõeveer '25 (Music & Dance); Kenzie Kaplan '25 (Journalism); Eduardo Michelsen '25 (Business); Rebecca Paresky '25 (Digital Media); Emma Perdigon '25 (Art); Riley Sepin '25 (Athletics); Kayra Serpenguzel '25 (English); Ethan Sullivan '25 (General Scholarship); and Sindhu Talluri '25 (World Languages) for the prestigious local competition.
The Silver Knight Awards event, sponsored by the Miami Herald/el Nuevo Herald, will recognize 30 winners in the spring whose projects demonstrate academic excellence and community service in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties. Ninety students will earn honorable mention recognition.
