Raiders erase 14 point 4th quarter deficit to move to 3-1

Freshman Julian Silvetz '28 led the way with a team high 17 points including 10 in the fourth quarter as the Raiders overcame a 38-24 deficit to defeat Coral Spring Charter 46-42 in a thrilling game. Senior Connor Gumbs '25 started the comeback with a lay up and three pointer after forcing consecutive turnovers to get the Raiders back in striking distance with four minutes remaining in the game. Silvetz would then convert a three point play and junior Zach Schatzman '26 added a pair of free throws to bring the Raiders within two. Freshman Alijah Mourning '28 provided his best defense performance of the season with three blocks down the stretch and a pair of free throws to put the Raiders ahead with just under a minute to go. The Raiders would come up with crucial stops and junior Quinn Pegg '26 iced the game with two free throw makes with seconds remaining to give the Raiders a 46-42 victory and move to 3-1 on the season. The Raiders will take their show on the road for the first time this season as they visit Mater Brickell tonight at 7:30 p.m.
