Last Friday, December 6th, our Middle School Boys Soccer Varsity team faced Miami Country Day in a closely contested match, ultimately falling 2-0.
Both teams competed at a high level, and the game was marked by intensity and skill. An early controversial handball penalty and a mistake while building out of the back gave Miami Country Day their two goals, but the scoreline doesn’t fully reflect the performance of our team.
The Raiders controlled much of the match, dominating possession with 62.4% compared to their opponent's 37.6%. Despite this control, turning possession into clear scoring chances proved to be the challenge. The boys showed determination and discipline, leaving the field with valuable lessons for the matches ahead.
Next up is the much-anticipated derby against Gulliver Prep on Tuesday, December 10th, at our home field, with kickoff at 3 pm. Go Raiders!
