Raiders roll in home opener

Senior Reid Rosenberg '25 got off to an impressive start with six goals and one assist to lead the Raiders in a 13-1 victory over Miami Country Day to move to 1-0 on the season.  Freshman Liam Segal '28 and sophomore Winston Hosford '27 both scored twice in the victory. The Raiders received terrific goalie play from junior Jackson Crowley '26 who stopped all eight shots to earn his first career shutout. From the opening whistle the Raiders dominated play with constant pressure on the Spartan defense resulting in nine first half goals. From their the team would cruise to victory behind strong midfield play. The Raiders will get back on the practice field today as they look to go 2-0 when they host Coral Reef High School on Wednesday evening at Robert E. Walker Field. Face off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
