Raider volleyball closes out regular season with victory
Senior Alexander Sargi '25 led the way with 20 assists, 14 kills, and three aces as the Raiders rolled to a three set victory over Greater Miami Academy to close out the regular season. It was a special night as the Raiders celebrated Sargi, the lone senior on the team in his final home game. Junior Tariq Maduro '26 and sophomore Shai Waizbrot '27 had strong performances combining for 30 kills, 22 digs, and six aces in the victory. The Raiders will now turn their attention to the post season earning the #2 seed in the district tournament. A semifinal matchup with Mater Academy Bay awaits the Raiders on Tuesday, April 29th hosted at Killian High School. First serve is scheduled for 5:00 p.m.
