More than two dozen Ransom Everglades students earned recognition for their excellence in the visual arts in a number of contest announcements in December and January. Middle and upper school students excelled in the Drexel University national high school photography competition; fall 2021 Celebrating Art Contest; Broward Art Guild Annual Youth Art competition; and Lions International Peace Poster Contest.
Drexel University Competition Sophia Romanov Imber '24, Jules Murray '22 and Sofia Piniella '23 were selected for the annual national high school photography exhibit hosted by Drexel University. Their images were among 116 selected from more than 3,000 entries nationally from 363 schools.
Lions Club International Peace Poster Maya Weintraub '26 won first place locally and second place in the district competition of the Lions Club International Peace Poster competition hosted by the Lions Club on Key Biscayne.
Broward Art Guild Competition Nolan Wu '24 won second place in the Broward Art Guild Annual Youth Art competition.
Fall 2021 Celebrating Art Contest Twenty-four middle schoolers and one upper schooler were accepted for publication in the national fall 2021 Celebrating Art Contest; their works will be shared in an anthology.

Founded in 1903, Ransom Everglades School is a coeducational, college preparatory day school for grades 6 - 12 located on two campuses in Coconut Grove, Florida.
