Girls' water polo wins 18th district title in 19 years

Ransom Everglades girls' water polo earned its 18th district title in 19 years with a resounding 20-2 defeat of Coral Gables High at the Ansin Aquatic Center on April 10. Eleanor Kriplen '28 led with five goals; Sydney Gould '25 and Ellie Stokes '26 scored three each; and Casey Manno '25 tallied seven assists and three steals. Ten Raiders scored at least once to help the Raiders get back on the district title track after a narrow defeat to MAST Academy in 2024 ended their 17-year streak.
Other contributors in the Florida High School Athletic Association Class 1A District 14 contest included Lucy Hansen '26 and Ella Trepotich '26 with two goals each, and Vicky Pinilla '25 and Anjali Gupta '27, who notched three steals each.

Under coaches Eric Lefebvre, Petar Solomun and Brad Gould, the Raiders enter the regional playoffs with a 15-7 record. Kriplen and Gould lead RE with 68 goals each, putting them among the top 20 scorers in Florida girls' water polo. Gould is in the top 10 in the state with 45 assists.
