Annual Thanksgiving drives help residents of Coconut Grove and beyond

RE's annual Thanksgiving drives provided food for many families in the Miami and Coconut Grove communities. Upper school students donated 13 frozen turkeys, 378 bags of groceries, $340 and 14 pies to the Miami Rescue Mission's annual Thanksgiving dinner, and middle school students filled baskets for 40 families with Thanksgiving fare and nearly $1,800 in gift cards. The upper school drive was organized by faculty member Astrid Dalins, and the middle school event took place under the direction of student activities director Lenny Castaneda. Watch the video
