Student performers in Rock 4 Relief raise funds for musicians affected by the Los Angeles fires
Eighteen upper school musicians and vocalists donated their time and talents to raise money for Los Angeles-based musicians affected by the recent fires. At Rock 4 Relief on February 28 at the Lewis Family Auditorium, the RE community enjoyed an evening of student performances for the benefit of MusiCares, which provides a safety net of critical health and welfare services to the music community.
The student performers included Sofia Rakhimi ’25, Morgan Williams ’26, Isabella Sayfie Ranawat ’26, Lily Poses ’26, Noah Martin ’25, Griffin Nelson-Montet ’25, Ella Arnold ’27, Simone Carrasco ’27, Jaerla Sajous ’25, Victoria Pasos ’28, Henry Berler ’25, Kenzie Kaplan ’25, Anna Lugo ’25, Jillian Demos-Brown ’25, Cianna Vengoechea Schiff ’25, Isaac Zide ’28, Lucas Noblet ’28 and Drea Buchman ’26,and Director of Instrumental Music Jon Hamm played the guitar.
Founded in 1903, Ransom Everglades School is a coeducational, college preparatory day school for grades 6 - 12 located on two campuses in Coconut Grove, Florida.
